The umpire/scheduling meeting will proceed on May 1 at the Quality Inn North (7150 50 Avenue) at 7:00PM. All teams are required to send one representative to the meeting to pick up their schedules, balls, score books, rule books etc. Umpiring questions will be addressed as well.
The city has previuosly announced that the ball diamonds we use will not be available on our requested opening dates. At this time, there is no timeline given to us. We will be in wait and see mode.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected- the entire hockey and sports communities- parents, families and friends. This is a great tragedy.

It has come to our attention that School Diamond Tuesday /Thursday was inadvertently missing from the top of the registration form. It is a valid selection. Our apologies for the error.

CASPA will be holding its Annual General Meeting on March 14th, 2018 at the Quality Inn North (7150-50 Avenue Red Deer) at 7:00PM. All persons wishing to enter a team are invited to the meeting, though it is not mandatory. We will be presenting last year’s financial information, and this year’s fees, as well as voting for several new board of directors members.
DUE TO SEVERAL TERRIBLE INCIDENTS IN OUR SPORT, CASPA REQUIRES ALL PITCHERS TO WEAR A PITCHING MASK FOR ALL LEAGUE GAMES. THIS IS A NEW RULE VOTED ON AT OUR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.
